Fear the Walking Dead, the show’s spin-off that airs in its stead during its midseason break has just finished its seventh season.
Despite initial hopes that the main show could return in the summer, a teaser for the returning episodes confirms that it would not return until the fall.
The last season will be released in three parts. Eight episodes will be featured in each of those installments.
As of this writing, the first of these three installments has concluded its run in October, the second in April, and the third and final one is planned for later in 2022, maybe in June.
