The Sound of Magic is a Netflix original psychological series written by Kim Min Jeong, directed by Kim Seong-Yoon, and based on the webtoon Annarasumanara by Ha Il-Kwon.
The production of the series is carried out by the JTBC studios, with which Netflix has worked on numerous occasions. Netflix streams many of JTBC’s series exclusively internationally and also some globally. Unlike broadcast series that arrive on Netflix weekly, Netflix will receive all episodes of The Sound of Magic in one go.
The Sound Of Magic Synopsis
The Sound of Magic is a South Korean musical comedy series that follows the story of Yun Ai, a girl who has always dreamed of becoming a magician. But really, she’s just a student who can’t even afford new socks.
Despite everything, she has always dreamed of it, wishing she could even grow up faster so she could fulfill it. In her most adult stage, she meets a magician named Lee Eul, who wants to stop time and remain as a child.
The Sound Of Magic KDrama Cast
As Yoon Ah Yi, a high school student, Choi Sung Eun takes on the role. Choi began her career in theater and short films at the Doosan Art Center in Seoul. Following a successful audition for the sitcom Start-Up, she received her first leading role in a feature film (2019). The SF8 (2020) and Beyond Evil movies featured her (2021).
Hwang In Youp questions Na Il Deung, a gifted high school student who can’t communicate with anyone outside of the classroom because he’s too busy studying. WHY, a web series that premiered in 2018, was Hwang’s first leading role as an actress.
Han Seo Jun in True Beauty is her most famous role (2021). Additionally, he has appeared in The Tale of Nokdu (2019) and 18 Again (2020). As for the SBS drama Why Her, which will premiere in the first half of 2022, Hwang has also been part of the cast.
