After successful recent thrillers like The Black Island, Netflix is getting ready to release a thriller that is sure to be a hit, Guilty.
Guilty is the new Netflix remake that already has the first trailer. As always, the streaming platform has spared no expense in assembling an excellent team. Starring Jake Gyllenhaal ( Prisoners, Enemy) and directed by Antoine Fuqua, this thriller is a fresh look at the Danish story of the same name that received rave reviews from international critics in 2018. The script will be in charge of showrunner Nic Pizzolato, recognized thanks to the HBO series True detective and for working with Fuqua on another remake, such as the modern version of the magnificent seven.
When Does The Guilty Come Out On Netflix
An original tape from the streaming platform will make its debut this week at the Toronto International Film Festival and that will be available worldwide through Netflix on October 1, which is why it is projected as one of the expected premieres of that month.
Three weeks before it is added to its catalog, the service has just revealed the trailer for Guilty, a trailer that promotes a good dose of suspense and that thriller fans will not want to miss.

The Guilty Synopsis
Jake Gyllenhaal plays Joe Bayler, a former police detective who has become a 911 operator. Their job is clear: to obtain the most important information from the caller and to pass the alert to the police, fire department, or health as necessary. He should also eliminate false alarms in seconds or even help himself if possible and it is not an emergency, of course.
However, one morning he receives a call from a young woman named Emily. At first, Joe thinks it is a mistake since she seems to be talking to her daughter, however, Joe realizes that the woman is in danger and fakes the conversation so that the person who is holding her does not know that she is talking to 911.
Thereafter begins a frantic search by Joe to save this stranger from which virtually no information and track which is even more difficult because of a large fire in the area.
However, as the character gains information, he realizes that not all or all are what they seem.
The Guilty Jake Gyllenhaal Netflix Cast 2021
Jake Gyllenhaal plays the lead role of Joe Bayler and previously starred in Donnie Darko, Night Creeper, and Secret on the Mountain. Meanwhile, Gyllenhaal’s previous Netflix original movies are terrifying horror thrillers. Velvet circular saw and fantasy drama OK yes. Vivien Lyra Blair (Bird Box, Station 19, Pavement) plays the role of Abby, and Jess is played by Gillian Zinser (Wilde, 90210, all liars).
Other actors in the project are Ethan Hawke. (Before dawn, before midnight, training day). Peter Sarsgaard (Broken Glass, Kinsey, Garden State) and Riley Keough (Mad Max: Fury Road, Comes at Night, American Honey) also star. Others are Paul Dano (There Will Be Blood, 12-Year-Old Slave, Little Miss Sunshine) and Byron Bowers (Beton Cowboy, Honey Boy, The Chi).
