The Baby Season 1 Episode 1 Review

All of Natasha’s (Michelle de Swarte) friends are starting to have children, but she, at 38, doesn’t want to be a mother. She wants to do what she wants when she wants, without the responsibilities that come with taking care of a child. Therefore, her life is totally altered when a baby literally falls from the sky. Natasha tries to get rid of the baby, but she can’t, she follows her wherever she goes. He is not a normal baby.

Everyone thinks that it is her child, including her friends as if reality had been changed, and what is worse, everyone who approaches the baby dies violently. And this is not all, since throughout the series more connections are discovered between Natasha and the mysterious baby that make it increasingly difficult for her to get rid of him.

Despite this, to help her she has Mrs. Eaves (Amira Ghazalla), a 73-year-old homeless woman he meets shortly after the baby’s appearance and who takes a special interest in him and seems to know things about the boy’s true identity and the nature of his powers.

On the other hand, she also appears in Natasha’s life, her sister Bobbi, played by Amber Grappy, with whom she has not spoken for 3 years and she is trying to adopt a child with her partner.

The Baby is a series about unwanted motherhood. Natasha does not want to have children but that baby that falls from the sky ends up being her responsibility, which added to the fact that she has those powers that end people’s lives makes Natasha feel even more pressure, having to watch over him 24 hours a day. of the day, not so that nothing happens to the baby, but so that nothing happens to the people around him.
