Supernatural Season 1 Episode 19 Cast: The brothers begin their investigation after the bodies of a young couple are discovered brutally murdered inside a locked house in upstate New York. During their research, they find out from their father’s journal that similar deaths have occurred in the region over the past few decades.

They look through all of the couple’s possessions that were sent to an auction house to determine whether or not a spirit may have attached itself to one of the items.

Sam can obtain copies of the artifacts’ provenances after he asks Sarah Blake (Taylor Cole), the daughter of the auction shop’s owner, out on a date. Sarah is the owner of the auction house.

Dean makes the startling discovery that a painting from 1910 depicting the Isaiah Merchant family belonged to each of the other individuals who were murdered and that Merchant had murdered his entire family before turning the gun on himself.

After concluding that the artwork is haunted, the brothers decide to destroy it; nevertheless, it eventually mends itself. Dean finds Merchant’s body and cremates it, but when Sam and Sarah try to beat the picture again, the spirit of Merchant’s daughter emerges from it, revealing that she was the real murderer all along. Dean then tracks down Merchant’s body and cremates it.

After Dean burns an antique doll that he finds in the mausoleum with the girl’s hair on it, the girl’s spirit is no longer there. After that, the painting is ultimately ruined, and the brothers depart town, but not before Sam says his final goodbye to Sarah with a kiss.
