Skater Girl Story In Short

The film is the growing up of a rural skater girl from a remote village in Rajasthan, India. When a woman from London shows up with a friend who has a skateboard, everything changes in this small town and all local kids are obsessed with driving around, causing chaos and pleasure. For a young girl, Rachel Saanchita GuptaHer life changes on her debut as Prerna as she heads for the National Skateboarding Championship.

Skater Girl is a coming-of-age story about self-confidence, courage and the profound effects of your own path. The film is set in a remote village in Rajasthan, India. He follows Prerna (Rachel Saanchita Gupta in her debut), a local teenager who leads a life marked by tradition and duty to his parents. But when London-bred advertiser Jessica (Amy Maghera) arrives in the village to learn about her late father’s childhood, Prerna and the other local children are introduced to an exciting new adventure thanks to Jessica and her old friend (Jonathan Readwin) Cruising the city on a skateboard. The children are in love with the sport, run through the village and disturb everything and everyone around them. Jessica is determined to strengthen and promote their newfound passion, and set out to build their own skate park in town for the children. Prerna remains the difficult choice of meeting society’s expectations of her or realizing her dream of national skateboarding championships.
