Sandy Hook School Shooting Timeline: The big incident of mass shootings has once again come to light in the US. A gunman opened indiscriminate fire at a primary school in southern Texas on Tuesday, killing 18 students and three teachers studying there. The 18-year-old attacker was also killed in the incident. There has been mourning throughout the U.S. since the incident.

The governor of the province, Greg Abbott, told the media that 18 students and three teachers were killed in the mass shooting.
The suspect was identified as 18-year-old Salvador Ramos. He was also killed in retaliatory firing by the police. He said the shooter was carrying a handgun and possibly a rifle. Governor Abbott said the attacker had also shot two school officials who had been hospitalized for treatment. But they are expected to survive.
It is believed that the adolescent shot and killed his grandma before beginning the rampage.
According to the media in the region, he may have been a student at a high school in the vicinity.
Pete Arredondo, the chief of police for the Uvalde Consolidated Independent School District, stated that the shooting occurred at 11:32 a.m. local time on Tuesday, adding that detectives think the perpetrator “did act alone during this heinous crime.”
Erick Estrada, who works for the Texas Department of Public Safety and was interviewed by CNN, stated that an officer from the Uvalde school district police department who worked at the school witnessed Ramos emerge from the truck while holding a weapon and wearing body armor.
According to Mr. Estrada, the police officer “engaged” the subject but was unable to detain or arrest him. Two other policemen from the Uvalde Police Department tried to stop Ramos but were unsuccessful and requested backup to assist them.
It has been determined that some of the youngsters that passed away were siblings.
In comments released on Tuesday evening, representatives of the families of Xavier Lopez and Amerie Jo Garza, both 10 years old, acknowledged that the children had passed away.
Amerie Garza, the daughter of Angel Garza, was murdered, he said on Facebook.
Irma Garcia and Eva Mireles, both teachers, were among the two adults that died.
Mrs. Garcia has been a teacher for 23 years, according to the district’s website, and she is a mother of four children.
Ms. Mireles was a teacher for 17 years, has a college-age daughter, and enjoys jogging and hiking, according to the same website
The mostly Hispanic school is located around 85 miles (135.0 km) west of the city of San Antonio, and it has a student body of close to 500 students.
