When Will Riverdale Season 5 Be On Netflix In The US

After debuting its 5th season in early 2021, Riverdale aired the remaining episodes from its fourth year to finally focus on the narrative originally planned for the current broadcast.

Season 5’s Riverdale made its return to The CW on Wednesday, August 11, putting an end to hell for viewers who watch the show as it airs. But unfortunately for Netflix US Subscribers, the wait is not over.

Although the series has resumed its streaming availability the next day in other markets, such as an American television show, it has to finish airing its current season in the United States before it can land on Netflix. As of August 27, Riverdale Season 5 has aired 13 of its 19 episodes.

Barring a preemption, we’re going into another six weeks of season 5 on The CW. It’s almost two months of new content before the final airs and Netflix Riverdale fans will have a chance to enjoy the show.

The series has also appeared in Netflix’s top 10 in countries such as Germany, France, the Netherlands, India, Australia, Canada, and the United Kingdom.

The United States will have even more to wait for season 5. Season 4 arrived on Netflix about a week after its season finale in May 2020.

Most shows on The CW should appear around 9 days after their end date. If that’s the case with Riverdale Season 5, we should see the show’s fifth season added on October 15, 2021.
