Ozark Season 4 Part 2 Release Date Netflix

Ozark Season 4 Part 2 Release Date Netflix: Netflix premiered the first part of the final season of ‘Ozark’ last Friday, January 21, leaving only seven episodes to know what will be the outcome of the series starring Jason Bateman and Laura Linney.

The final chapters of ‘Ozark’ are already shot and in Espinof we are going to review everything that is known about the end of the Netflix series below. As usual in these articles, we will update it as more is known about the final farewell to the series.

Ozark Season 4 Part 2 Release Date Netflix

The first seven episodes of the fourth and final season of Ozark arrived on Netflix in January 2022.

The second part of the fourth season of Ozark will premiere on Netflix on Friday, April 29.

Unlike other series, Netflix already had the episodes of the second part of season 4 ready when the first premiered, so a three-month window between the first and second part was foreseeable. They did not need to go through post-production first, as happened with season 3 of Cobra Kai, which arrived on the streaming platform with the recorded episodes, but without editing; nor that everything was delayed by the pandemic, as happened with season 5 of Lucifer, which was also split in two (it was going to have been the final season), but was delayed when it had already started recording and there was a difference of one year between the first part and the second part.

Given that Ozark is a natural replacement for House of Cards as a prestige TV product, it makes sense that Netflix wanted to drag out the series finale. Although they sell it to us as two halves of the same season, in the end, the streaming platform is going to give it the treatment of a season…

What Is ‘Ozark’ About?

The story revolves around the Byrde family, formed by the marriage of Marty and Wendy and their two teenage children, Charlotte and Jonah. They have a completely normal life until they are relocated to a totally different place: they go from living in the suburbs of Chicago to arrive at a small summer community in Ozark, Missouri.

The Byrdes will be involved in the underground world of illegal money laundering for a Mexican drug cartel.

Created by Bill Dubuque (The Accountant), this Netflix drama series stars Jason Bateman (How to Kill Your Boss) as Marty Bird, Laura Linney (The Truman Show) as his wife Wendy Bird, and Anthony Collins (Killing Reagan), the actor who gives life to the police officer Qieroz. “Ozark” is produced by Media Rights Capital and executive produced by Jason Bateman, Mark Williams, and Bill Dubuque himself.
