In Episode 8 of Season 20 of NCIS, “Turkey Trot,” the team faces up against a dangerous terrorist organization. Kasie and Jimmy will run a local marathon to kick off the festivities.

However, shots are fired unexpectedly just before the start of the race, significantly derailing everything, and an investigation leads to the conclusion that Agent Jessica Knight (Katrina Law) may have been the intended target. As things stand, it has the potential to become an investigation into not only her current history but also her formative years. Who would have the wherewithal to plan her destruction?

We’ll be given further chances to learn more about each agent through the show. Bear in mind that we will eventually meet her sister on the show. In it, Katrina Law’s Agent, Knight, and Kasie spend Thanksgiving with Knight’s sister. Crime continues even on Thanksgiving, so the squad is tasked with identifying the mystery gunman who put an end to the 5K by opening fire.
