Nate Berkus and Jeremiah Brent tied the knot last weekend at the New York Public Library a year after getting engaged.

In addition, the couple has been the first to say ‘I do’ in the emblematic Public Library of the Big Apple. But the request for a hand was also very peculiar. Although they were surrounded by family and friends, the celebration was held on the famous Machu Picchu.

They Got Engaged After Eight Months Of Relationship

An ‘I do’ that comes after a short relationship but the designer has stated on several occasions that he knew from the first date he had with Jeremiah Brent that he was going to be the man of his life. For this reason, he did not hesitate to ask for her hand eight months after starting their romance.

Nor could their relatives and friends be absent from the marriage bond. Among the 220 guests were Oprah Winfrey, Rachael Ray, Katie Lee, Rebecca Minkoff, Irene Neuwirth, Busy Philipps, and Elizabeth Hendrickson.

The couple, who married in 2014 at the New York Public Library, has made the announcement in 2015 of the birth of their little girl through People magazine.

In June 2021 Nate & Jeremiah by Design program, Jeremiah Brent and Nathan Berkus opened the doors of their new home in New York to share its deco keys with Architectural Digest.

Along with their children Poppy and Oskar, Jeremiah and Nathan share how their style has evolved since the last time they showed their home in Los Angeles, as well as the process of renovating their projects.
