According to The Sun, the man said that a total of around 3,000,000 envelopes filled with cash were recovered, but he did not know how much money was inside. According to his statements, when he recovered the checks, he gave notice to the church supervisor telling them about “the surprising” finding and to take responsibility for the situation.
