As you saw in the teaser, In Love All Over Again is about Julio and Irene, a couple who didn’t know each other before they met at a movie premiere on a beautiful day in Madrid in 2003 and quickly realised they liked each other. When the young student Irene decides to make a short film and meets Julio, she not only gets him to be in it but also falls in love with him.

On the other hand, the main characters in their love story don’t get married after a few fights and talks. Instead, they learn what love is really about and what it means to fall in love over and over again. After the time jump, in 2021, Irene tells their love story as she writes something on her laptop. Whether the story has a happy or sad ending is still unknown.

At first glance, the show looks like a typical Netflix romantic comedy, but the 18-year time jump in the teaser shows that it’s not. It gives the plot a new twist. Overall, there will be some dramatic moments and the two leads will have a lot of chemistry.

In Love All Over Again Cast

A lot of the actors in In Love All Over Again have been in other Netflix shows, like Georgina Amoros, who plays Irene, the main character. People who watched the popular Spanish show Elite might remember her as Cayetana Grajera. She was in 31 episodes of the show, not counting the short stories. Code Name Emperor, Welcome to the Family, and Bajo sospecha are some of her other well-known books. The main character, Julio, is played by Franco Masini, who played Luka Colucci in a Mexican Netflix show called Rebelde. Masini started acting in 2011 with the Peter Punk series. Since then, he has been in many movies and TV shows, such as My Lovely Hope, Love After Loving, Solo el Amor, and The Clan.

Carlos Gonzalez, who is known for his roles on Amazon Prime’s Dangerous Moms and HBO’s The Wire, is also in the cast. Max’s Veneno will play Da, Kyle Scudder, who was in Peacock’s Vampire Academy, will play Matt, Blanca Martinez (Indulto Tardio) will play Jimena, Alejandro Jato (Serramoura) will play Gonzalo, and Andrea Carrion Samaniego (Lola!) will play Auxiliar de Direccion. Abril Montilla (30 Coins), Roser Vilajosana (The Tunnel), and Albert Salazar (La Riera) are all playing roles that haven’t been named yet.

Mateo Gil (The Sea Inside), Ginesta Guindal (Elite), Carlota Pereda (There Will Be Monsters), and Barbara Farre (Amaia Romero: El relampago), Ginesta Guindal (Elite), and Carlota Pereda (There Will Be Monsters) all direct two episodes each. The screenplay was written by Carlos Montero, Guillermo J. Escribano (Sexto), and Almudena Ocana (Toy Boy).

Montero has written and made well-known works like Elite, Feria: The Darkest Light, and Elite Short Stories. The Mess You Leave Behind and the short film Easy Money from the 2010s are two of his other well-known TV shows that he directed and wrote. Diego Betancor and Carlos Montero, who worked together on Elite and Elite Short Stories, are in charge of making the show.
