How Many Post Credit Scenes In Doctor Strange 2? Marvel Studios continues to honor its particular tradition of post-credits scenes and Doctor Strange’s latest cinematic foray gives us two scenes. Beware of spoilers!

The first post-credits scene is the most important as it is the one that shows us a small teaser of what we can expect in the next chapter of Doctor Strange’s adventures.

How Many Post Credit Scenes In Doctor Strange?

First Post Credit Scenes

The first post-credits scene takes place in the middle of, forgive the redundancy, the credits. We see Steve Stranger coming out of his house dressed like a normal person. As he walks calmly down the street, a woman dressed in a lilac suit, played by Charlize Theron, approaches him to tell him that she has caused “a raid”, so she must help her solve this problem. As she speaks it, she opens a portal where she shows him the disaster that is taking place in the Dark Dimension.

“You caused a raid and you have to fix it. Or you are afraid?” this mysterious being asks Strange. To which he takes it as a challenge, he takes off his cape and says of course not, while he lets out his third eye from his forehead.

Second Post Credit Scenes

Unlike the first post-credits scene, the second one has nothing to do with the future plot of Doctor Strange. However, for fans of Sam Raimi, this scene is indeed full of meaning. This is Bruce Campbell, the American actor whom the director of the film always includes in several of his feature films. He has done it from Deadpool (1981-1992) to the famous Spider-Man trilogy (2002-2007).

Campbell appears in two parts of the film. First, in a parallel universe. Here, he sells pizzas and behaves rudely towards Doctor Strange, so Doctor Strange, as a punishment, puts a spell on him so that he hits his face for 48 hours.

In the post-credits scene, the salesman appears again. He notices that he’s not hitting his face anymore, so, looking at the camera, he says, “It’s over!” After this, the movie ends.

The Premiere Of Doctor Strange 2 Marks A New Record At Marvel Studios

Doctor Strange 2 earned $36 million in the US alone during Thursday night previews. As a result of this brutal opening, the sequel to the Sorcerer Supreme has become the fourth Marvel Studios film with the best domestic opening in the history of the MCU. The success is so amazing that it has been the eighth most successful premiere in the history of cinema. It has been placed just behind the 39 million Avengers: Infinity War. If the forecasts are met, the final result of this premiere will mark another box office milestone.

This is also the second-best preview since the pandemic began. It has only been surpassed by the shocking gross of Spider-Man: No Way Home. The latest Spider-Man movie produced by Sony Pictures Entertainment opened in the US with $50 million. However, Marvel Studios’ Doctor Strange 2 has far surpassed the preview of The Batman, the new version of the Batman starring Robert Pattinson. Here are some numbers for you to compare:

Avengers: Endgame = 60 million dollars
Spider-Man: No Way Home = $50 million
Avengers: Infinity War = $39 million
Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness = $36 million
