Doctor Who David Tennant Catherine Tate: The BBC has confirmed that David Tennant and Catherine Tate will reprise their roles in Doctor Who for the show’s 60th-anniversary festivities.
The sci-fi show’s 60th anniversary will be celebrated in 2023, and the two actors are presently filming.

Tennant played the 10th Doctor and Tate played Donna Noble from 2005-to 2010.
When Doctor Who’s 50th-anniversary special, titled “The Day of the Doctor,” aired in 2013, the BBC brought back David Tennant and Billie Piper (Rose Tyler), the show’s fan-favorite companion.
After a decade, Tennant is due to make a new appearance.
Davies expressed his delight at Ten and Donna’s comeback in a statement released by the BBC.
They’re back! And it looks impossible – first, we announce a new Doctor, and then an old Doctor, along with the wonderful Donna, what on earth is happening? Maybe this is a missing story. Or a parallel world. Or a dream, or a trick, or a flashback. The only thing I can confirm is that it’s going to be spectacular, as two of our greatest stars reunite for the battle of a lifetime.
Fans will be on the edge of their seats, as it appears the showrunner is doing his or her best to keep them guessing about what will happen in the upcoming episode.
Jodie Whittaker will make her final appearance as the 13th Doctor when Doctor Who returns to BBC One later this year for a special 90-minute episode to commemorate the BBC’s centenary.
However, BBC has confirmed that the episode is still being recorded, so we’ll have to wait until 2023 to see how the Doctor and Donna meet Fourteen.
A photo might be shared in the near future that will give us a sense of what to expect upon their homecoming. There is no end to the possibilities.
