Dennis Waterman Cause Of Death: Family members have confirmed the death of Dennis Waterman, well known for his appearances in Minder, The Sweeney, and New Tricks. He was 74 years old.
Confirming his death, his agent said,
In the 1970s and 1980s, Waterman was one of the most popular television performers. After starring as tough nut detective George Carter in The Sweeney, he went on to act as bodyguard Terry McCann in Minder.
As Gerry Standing in BBC’s New Tricks, he played a part in more recent years; he’s also had appearances on ITV’s Where The Heart Is, and the BBC’s The Canterbury Tales as well as the BBC’s Moses Jones.
In Scars of Dracular, Fright, and Man in the Wilderness, he shared the screen with the likes of Christopher Lee, Richard Harris, and Susan George.
The actresses Penny Dixon, Patricia Maynard, and Rula Lenska were all divorced by Waterman.
Pam Flint, his fourth wife, and their two children are the only survivors.

Dennis Waterman passed away on May 8, 2022, according to his family.
At the time, there was no explanation given as to why the star had died.
He appeared in the Australian comedy Never Too Late as recently as 2020.
Dennis died at his home in Spain, where he was surrounded by his wife, Pam Flint, whom he married in 2011.
