Chrissy Teigen Pregnancy Condition: Chrissy Teigen and her husband John Legend have announced that they are expecting another child, nearly two years after the couple experienced the loss of a pregnancy.
Teigen uploaded two photographs of her growing baby belly on Instagram, where she announced her pregnancy.
“We have another on the way,” the model and cookbook author, 36 years old and already has two children with her partner, Legend, Luna, and Miles, posted on her Instagram account.
She wrote in the post about her struggles with fertility and how she was too afraid to announce her pregnancy at the time.
Before the miscarriage, Teigen was sent to the hospital because she was bleeding excessively.
In the same year, Teigen penned an essay in which she discussed the diagnosis of a partial placental abruption that she received from her medical professionals.
The honesty with which Teigen discussed the tragedy earned her acclaim at the time since it helped to demystify a tragic but all too typical experience.

It shocked Chrissy Teigen when she revealed on Thursday that the “miscarriage” she claimed to have experienced two years ago was an abortion. Chrissy Teigen had the procedure done.
Teigen and her husband, John Legend, announced in September 2020 that they had tragically lost their son Jack at the 20-week mark due to complications arising from their pregnancy.
During an appearance at the social impact firm Propper Daley’s “A Day of Unreasonable Conversation” summit, which took place on Thursday, Teigen stated that the news that she had an abortion came as a complete and utter surprise to her.
“An abortion to save my life for a baby that had absolutely no chance. And to be honest, I never, ever put that together until, actually, a few months ago.”
Teigen stated that she had her epiphany when the United States Supreme Court decision in Roe v. Wade was reversed earlier this summer.
Teigen explained, “I fell silent, feeling weird that I hadn’t made sense of it that way.”
The talk that Teigen was giving was “We Made That Choice.”
The invite-only event, held in Beverly Hills’ The Wallis Annenberg Center for the Performing Arts, was sponsored in conjunction with culture change organization Invisible Hand, with The Hollywood Reporter as a media partner, and featured a full day of programming intended to bring together television writers, producers, and executives with cultural changemakers.

Teigen continued to disclose information regarding the procedure, stating that the issues she experienced during her pregnancy were the result of a partial placenta abruption.

Teigen, speaking about herself compared to other mothers she may come across on social media, has said, “We see these perfect lives and these pregnant bellies and people covered in children.”
