Chainsaw Man Episode 8: Having reached the penultimate episode of its first season, Chainsaw Man has published a preview for Episode 8 to set the stage for the series conclusion.
After spending the last few episodes caught beneath the eerie might of the Eternity Devil, Denji and the rest of Special Division 4’s members are only getting started with their troubles. Denji will be tested in future episodes after learning the ropes as the Chainsaw Man.
In the previous episode, Denji found himself on a rather unexpected cliffhanger. He has been achieving several primary goals in ways and at speeds he never could have imagined. It’s up to him to deal with the wilder devils heading our way.

Chainsaw Man Episode 8 Preview
Episode 8 of Chainsaw Man will pick off just where episode 7 left off, with Himeno getting drunk and asking Denji for a date.
With no response from Denji, the show abruptly concluded on a cliffhanger. But considering how he already felt about her, Denji had to accept her proposal.
Preview photographs also feature Makima wearing the same clothes she wore to the bar earlier that night, suggesting that we will also see her in a flashback. As a result, Denji may turn down Himeno’s approaches out of loyalty to Makima.
A scene from the preview trailer features Denji and Himeno eating breakfast at her house. After a night of heavy drinking, Himeno might inquire of Denji as to the events of the previous evening. The reason and the topic of the morning’s talk between Himeno and Denji have yet to be revealed.
Katana Man and Akane Sawatari, two new foes, also make brief appearances in the preview. With plans to murder Denji and steal his heart, these two will launch the Katana Man storyline.
Katana Man, like Chainsaw Man, is a demonic humanoid created when the Katana Devil fuses with a human. His motivations remain unknown, but based on his fight with Aki Hayakawa in the teaser trailer, he appears to be a powerful adversary.
The trailer also shows a glimpse of Makima riding the train, sure to excite fans. From what I recall from what Aki had said, Makima was planning a trip to Tokyo. She’ll probably have already left for her trip by the time the Katana Man attacks Denji in this episode.
