Cast of Magnum PI 2023: The fifth season of Magnum P.I. starts on Feb. 19 on NBC. Fans who have been waiting for the new season with bated breath almost didn’t get it. The series was cancelled by CBS in 2022, leaving the question of whether or not it would come back up until NBC swooped in at the last minute and picked it up.
Now, people can be sure that Thomas Magnum and Juliet Higgins will have more adventures. The 20 episodes of Season 5 will be split into two parts. When the season was first picked up, news about it said that Magnum P.I. had been saved for a fifth and sixth season, each with ten episodes. But that’s not what happens.
Don’t worry, though. This show has a lot of fans, so we have no doubt that it will come back for a sixth season. But for now, we’re focused on what season 5 will bring. Its premiere will be a two-hour event. In one episode, Magnum and Higgins will talk about the risks of dating each other, and in the next, they’ll go undercover as lifeguards to solve a murder case, doing their best Baywatch impression.
