100 days in LOCKDOWN.. 24th Mar-1st July 2020 COVID-19 QUARANTINE FREEDOM… a small word with a world within itself.. something which gives us happiness but something tat we often take for granted.. these last 100 days in lockdown has taught me a lot.. it jus took a virus to make humans understand the true meaning of freedom.. this too shall pass, this too shall go, but this too shall teach us lessons tat we will never forget.. whenever life pushes me in a corner, whenever I get knocked down by life.. I will look at this video, remember these days, get up stronger, better and face life with a smile.. I’ll tell myself, if tat passed this too shall pass.. And ofcourse I can show my grand children this video some day and tell them how a generation of humans lived in a cage, in isolation without meeting each other.. hoping n praying.. the last few days have been tough for all of us..we stayed indoors, we clapped, thanked and showed gratitude.. we lit up Diya’s in hope.. we kept away frm frens but met and connected with them on social media.. exercising indoors became a daily activity.. sanitizers, masks and washing hands were a compulsion.. ppl walked miles to reach their homes… I may never see my MUMBAI again like this with empty roads and no trains.. travel was shut.. we couldn’t work..economy suffered.. life turned upside down unexpectedly.. but we still held each other in hope and didnt give up.. we learnt new ways of living life.. we fought and will continue to fight.. we learned to survive.. but wen this is over, we will show more compassion to our family and friends, will show more gratitude to ppl who work for us.. we will learn to share this planet with animals and all living beings.. will hugg n laugh a lot more .. we will love more and hate less.. We will value and care for everything around us and Yess FREEDOM..
