Actor From Superfly Arrested: Kaalan Walker, a ” Superfly ” actor, and rapper, was sentenced to at least 50 years to life in prison after being convicted in a trial of numerous rapes, the Los Angeles Times reported.
Walker, 27, was convicted last April of three counts of forcible rape, two counts of statutory rape, and two counts of intoxication rape, according to the Los Angeles County district attorney’s office.
According to City News Service, the Los Angeles singer was arrested in 2018 on the above charges and later released on bail. However, he was ordered to be held after sentencing.
Authorities said Walker’s victims, who were models, alleged that the rapper approached them through social media, offering to help them professionally.
According to local media, Walker lured his victims by telling them that he would introduce them to a celebrity or that they would film a music video, and when he was alone with the women, he sexually assaulted them.
Actor From Superfly Arrested
On Monday, April 18, 2022, Kaalan Walker, an actor, and rapper, was reportedly found guilty of serial rape.
According to the prosecution, the Superfly actor is being investigated for allegations of “sophisticated” sexual assault against women and adolescents between 2013 and 2018.
As reported by Rolling Stone, nearly 30 women came forward in 2021 to accuse Walker of sexual assault.
His most recent conviction featured ten such victims, including three kids. The actor was guilty of assaulting five victims, including three underage models.
Three of the 10 victims he was accused of victimizing were exonerated of all allegations against him, including those of violent assault.
According to Deputy District Attorney Cynthia Wallace, who spoke with the publication, Walker used the names of famous people like Drake and Halle Berry to attract many of his victims.
The lawyer also said that Walker lured his victims with the prospect of photoshoot jobs and other changes in the industry before committing sexual abuse.
Unfortunately, he never delivered on his promises and used the women at his disposal for his own gain.
