Sarah is a Kook because she grew up on Figure Eight Island. Her father is a successful businessman who started the family business from scratch. Sarah says that when he was younger, he was like John B.

Sarah has a brother named Rafe who is older and a sister named Wheezie who is younger. She lives with her father and Rose, her stepmother, with whom she doesn’t get along very well. At the start of season one, she is close to her father and says she can’t imagine life without him.

Sarah was best friends with Kiara in the ninth grade, but the friendship ended quickly when Sarah started to feel too close to Kiara. She has had several boyfriends in the past, but none of them lasted. Sarah tells John B that this is because she pushes boys away when things get serious with them. Before the pilot, she started dating Topper, who is also a Kook. Sarah cares about the environment and is easygoing and likes to have fun.

What Happens To Sarah?

The second season begins exactly where the first left off, with Sarah and John B. heading to Nassau, Bahamas, where the gold is hidden in Sarah’s family vacation home. The rest of the Pogues – JJ, Kie, and Pope – are still assuming their friends were killed in the hurricane and are beginning the new school year in mourning.

After landing in Nassau, John B. and Sarah work with Captain Terrance, Stubbs, and Cleo to recover the stolen gold from their family home. Of course, being this a television series, everything goes wrong. Does the group get the gold? Surprisingly yes. But at the expense of Sarah, who suffers a gunshot wound from her brother, Rafe. A classic cliffhanger.

You would think that the main character wouldn’t be killed early in the season. But never say never with ‘Outer Banks’.

Does Sarah Cameron Die?

Yes and no. After Sarah realizes she has been shot, she and John B. head to an underground doctor recommended by Captain Terrance. The doctor tries to save her, but the blood loss is too much for her body and unfortunately, she stays on the operating table.

Unable to accept his death, John B. repeatedly performs CPR until a sudden miracle occurs: Sarah awakens from the clutches of death. He then gets off the operating table (as if he hadn’t died for a second?) And returns to the mission, retrieving the gold and heading back to the ‘Outer Banks’. No one can say that Sarah is not resistant.

If you think this little moment in season two surprised you, prepare to be on the edge of your seat for the remaining episodes.
