Why Does The Internet Hate Chris Pratt?

Chris Pratt was selected as the worst ” Chris ” in Hollywood according to Twitter users after a user uploaded the image of Chris Hemsworth, Chris Pine, Chris Evans, and Chris Pratt saying “You have to go”, so the People made their decision and a consensus was reached that Pratt was the worst of the four.

The game seemed straightforward and like any other absurd question on the Internet, however, amid the comments, quite a bit of hatred began to come out against Pratt, even seeking to “cancel” him from the Marvel Universe, which is why Robert Downey Jr. and Mark Ruffalo came to his defense to speak well of himself and attack those who spoke ill of him.

Why Does The Internet Hate Chris Pratt?

In recent days, Chris Pratt, who plays Peter Quill in the Marvel universe, has been at the center of controversy for his alleged political beliefs and for deciding that he would not attend an event in support of candidate Joe Biden, where some members of the Avengers would participate to help him raise funds.

For the event, Variety reported that Chris Evans, Scarlett Johansson, Paul Rudd, Mark Ruffalo, Zoe Zaldana, and Don Cheadle would be there, so many people thought that Pratt supports Trump.

To this is added that he is married to Katherine Schwarzenegger, daughter of Arnold Schwarzenegger, who in addition to being an actor is the former governor of California and came to that position as for the Republican party, yes, Trump’s. People assumed, then, that Pratt would be in favor of the conservative policies that characterize that party.

Between that and the fact that last week the director Amy Berg ( Deliver Us From Evil ) published a tweet that went viral because it was a poll in which she said “one has to go” while showing the photos of Hollywood’s four most famous Chris, Pratt, Evans, Hemsorth and Pine; Everything was like a snowball that accumulated against the actor, who also allegedly belonged to a conservative church that is against the LGBTQ + community.

On the other hand, Mark Ruffalo or Hulk in the cinema also expressed support for the Star-Lord interpreter in Guardians of the Galaxy.

Pratt doesn’t deserve hatred just for standing aside, and of course, not for his religious beliefs either. His church, if discriminatory, would deserve the trial but there is no reason why he would serve as the punching bag.

The defenses of Pratt’s colleagues, the strongest being that of Robert Downey Jr, point to him as a respectable, kind man, as well as a “good Christian”, so he does not deserve the hatred or judgment imposed by the Internet.
