Why Did Eleven Move To California Ahead Of Stranger Things Season 4? After what seems like an eternity, Stranger Things season 4 has finally arrived, and we couldn’t be happier!
The new season of the Netflix Original show has been divided into two parts, and the first of those parts have now been made available on the site.
Even though it has been over three years since we have received new episodes of the science fiction series, it has been less than a year for the cast and crew of Hawkins.
However, this does not negate that a great deal of progress has been made.
Why Did Eleven Move To California Ahead Of Stranger Things Season 4?
As the third season comes to a close, everyone believes that Jim Hopper has passed away due to the mayhem that occurred at Starcourt.
Since the first season, you are aware that Eleven has been residing with him and receiving care from him. Throughout seasons 2 and 3, he proves himself to be the kind of father she deserves by setting limits and allowing her to experience life as a typical adolescent.
Joyce is confronted by Hopper earlier in the season regarding her intentions to leave Hawkins, and after the love interest is presumed to have passed away, she concludes that it is time to leave the town. Will and Jonathan have been in danger for an inordinate amount of time, and she considers moving to be the most prudent course of action.
As a result of Hopper’s departure, Eleven is now without a place to call home, and Joyce finally understands that Hopper would have wanted her to assume the role of the parent in his stead while he was gone.
Therefore, after hearing that the Byers family would be moving to California, she is requested to accompany them there.
To a greater extent than the others, Eleven has a highly terrible past connected to Hawkins, and the possibility of moving provides the potential for a new beginning.
Is Eleven’s Real Name Jane In Stranger Things?
If you need a refresher, Eleven’s given name is really Jane Ives.
She was taken away from her mother, Terry Ives (played by Aimee Mullins), shortly after she was born by Dr. Brenner.
She was finally adopted by Hopper, who changed her name to Jane Hopper when she completed the official adoption process.
This is the name she goes by in the public sphere and the name that is on her legal documents. Naturally, because the major characters first know her as Eleven, that is what they continue to refer to her as when they are alone.
To be safe, Eleven should use the name Jane if somebody from the Hawkins Laboratory is still looking for her.
