This year, the halftime show will be led by Burna Boy, who has won a Grammy and been nominated for an Oscar. He will be joined by artists Tems and Rema, who is from Nigeria.

Burna Boy, whose real name is Damini Ebunoluwa Ogulu, is a Nigerian singer and record producer. His albums African Giant (2019), Twice as Tall (2020), and Love, Damini (2020) are his most well-known works (2022). The 31-year-album old’s Twice as Tall was nominated for Best World Music Album at the 62nd Grammy Awards and won at the 63rd Grammy Awards.

Burna Boy’s music is mostly pop and afrobeats, with some R&B, hip hop, reggae, and dancehall influences. He has worked with artists like Ed Sheeran, Khalid, Stormzy, Chris Martin, and Sam Smith. His song Last Last was on the Billboard Hot 100 for an impressive 19 weeks.

Tems is also a Nigerian singer and songwriter who has won a Grammy Award. She has been in songs with Justin Bieber and Drake and co-wrote Rihanna’s “Lift Me Up” from the soundtrack to “Black Panther: Wakanda Forever.” For this song, she was nominated for the Academy Award for Best Original Song and the Golden Globe Award for Best Original Song.

This month, she won her first Grammy Award for Best Melodic Rap Performance, which she won with Drake and Future for their song “Wait For U.”

She will be there with Burna Boy and Rema for the halftime show, which will be about Afrobeats. Rema is best known for a remix of his hit song “Calm Down” that features Selena Gomez.
