Who is Kuhoo Verma? Murder Mystery 2, the sequel to the 2019 Netflix movie, premiered on March 31st, 2023, and features Nick and Audrey Spitz, played by Adam Sandler and Jennifer Aniston, attempting to solve the kidnapping of their friend, the Maharaja. Among the talented cast is Kuhoo Verma, who portrays Saira, the Maharaja’s sister.

Who is Kuhoo Verma? 

Kuhoo Verma is a 27-year-old Indian-American actress who made her screen-acting debut in the 2017 romantic comedy, The Big Sick, where she played Zubeida. She has also voiced Rani Kanaujia in the 2019 short film, Girl Icon, and played Leela in the TV series, Insomnia. In 2021, she appeared in the Hulu film, Plan B, and landed the part of Sunny. She also played a role in the 2022 short, Run For It (Aish), and will appear as Violet Marie in the forthcoming comedy, Space Cadet, starring Emma Roberts.

Kuhoo Verma in Plan B 

Kuhoo Verma’s performance in Plan B as a high school student was extremely healing for her. In an interview with Broadway, she mentioned how her role in the film meant a lot to her and how it helped her unpack the confusion, shame, and guilt that come with being a queer person of color. The film tells the story of a high school student and her friend in search of a Plan B pill following a regrettable night.

Final Thoughts Kuhoo Verma is a talented actress who is quickly making a name for herself in the entertainment industry. Her performance as Saira in Murder Mystery 2 will undoubtedly be memorable, and we can’t wait to see what other roles she will take on in the future.
