Who Attacked Dave Chappelle? Dave Chappelle was the victim of an assault while he was giving his show in Los Angeles by a person who came on stage and tackled him. This happened while he was performing at the Hollywood Bowl.

According to Los Angeles ABC, the person who went on stage to assault the comedian was arrested on the scene after some struggles and it was revealed that he was carrying a gun and a knife.

Multiple videos and accounts posted online showed the man climbing to the front of the Hollywood Bowl stage and running toward Chappelle. At least one video showed the comedian falling to the ground, with several other people running to stop the person.

The attacker, an audience member at the show, was detained by venue security and later taken to hospital with “superficial injuries,” the Los Angeles Police Department said. A video posted online of the alleged attacker appeared to show the unidentified man on a stretcher with his elbow bent at an odd angle.

Chappelle was giving his show at the historic Los Angeles venue as part of a show called ” Netflix Is A Joke Fest,” which is part of the streaming platform. In the program of this show were other characters from the world of entertainment such as Black Star, Jon Stewart, Busta Rhymes, Jeff Ross, Jimmy Carr, and the controversial since the Oscars, Chris Rock.

The one who did get hurt was the one who tackled Dave Chappelle, as images after the attack shows the subject on top of an ambulance with a broken arm after the blow he suffered.

After what happened, the comedian left the stage and was attended by the staff of the Hollywood Bowl to see if he had something else.

After that, the scene returned and Chris Rock could be seen with Chappelle and the comedian himself asked him if it was not Will Smith who went up to attack him after what happened at the Oscars.

The one who first helped Chappelle was Jaime Foxx, who was with whom the comedian returned to the stage of the Los Angeles venue to continue with the show.
