At the 15-minute mark of episode 1, “No Shelter But Me,” Mal and Alina kiss each other passionately. It’s a significant turning point, and fans will talk about it for a long time.

13 minutes into the episode, the couple walks into a room with a double bed and a private bathroom. This is where the action starts.

“It all looks so… comfortable,” Alina remarks, taking a seat on the bed. Mal says that Alina can sleep on the bed but she says “don’t be silly, there’s enough room for the both of us, only if you want to?”

They lay down on the bed together and start talking about deep things until Mal brings up chances he didn’t take that he wishes he had.

“Why not take them now then?” When Alina asks him out, he finally leans in to kiss her.
