Similarly, this film marks the end of the Halloween trilogy, which began with the release of Halloween in 2018.

Laurie is now living with her granddaughter Allyson and writing her book four years after the events in Halloween Kills. Since then, Michael Myers has not appeared.
Laurie has finally resolved to let go of her fear and wrath and embrace life after decades of allowing the phantom of Michael to dictate and dominate her reality.
When Corey Cunningham, a young man Laurie was babysitting, is arrested on suspicion of killing a youngster, it sets off a chain reaction of violence and fear that forces Laurie to face the evil she can’t stop once and for all.
Is There A Halloween Ends Trailer?
The trailer for Halloween Ends has been published by Universal Pictures. Even though it’s barely over a minute long, it contains everything long-time fans of the series could want as it promises that the Michael and Laurie saga is ending and teases a furious confrontation between the two, played over by the franchise’s legendary soundtrack. When Will Halloween Ends Come Out?
Just one year after the debut of Halloween Kills, a new Halloween flick will hit theatres on Friday, October 14.
The most recent Halloween movie was released in theatres while it was shown at Peacock. According to the trailer, the film is “in theatres October 14,” although there is no mention of Peacock. Ends, however, doesn’t appear to have this problem.
All signs point to a Peacock release date 45 days after the first theatre release date, which is consistent with previous Universal releases.

Danny McBride (The Righteous Gemstones) and Green (Halloween Ends) created the scripts for all three recent Halloween films. Chris Bernier and Paul Brad Logan (Halloween Ends) are also listed as writers.
Green’s filmography included comedies and dramas such as Pineapple Express, Eastbound & Down, Stronger, Vice Principals, and The Righteous Gemstones before taking on the Halloween franchise.
The Exorcist and Hellraiser TV series are among the projects he is scheduled to direct in the future.
