When Does Bob Die In Stranger Things? Stranger Things is a horror show, but it avoids unnecessary blood and gore scenes.
However, it wasn’t always that way. Stranger Things Season 2 added Bob Newby, a character whose death was initially far more bloody. Those are the facts that we have to work with.
Who Is Bob Newby In ‘Stranger Things‘ Season 2?
In The Goonies, Sean Astin portrays Bob Newby. Joyce Byers (Winona Ryder) relies on him as a source of stability following her and her family’s ordeals in Season 2 of Stranger Things.
Even though he doesn’t know everything that happened with Demogorgon last year, he’s willing to stay with the Byers family.
After meeting Bob for the first time, it’s hard to see anyone describing him as “heroic.” When he’s not working at Radio Shack or watching scary movies, he enjoys spending time with Joyce at home and reading a good book.
When it comes to Will (Noah Schnapp), Bob has a more intimate relationship with him than with Jonathan (Charlie Heaton.) The boys’ age is probably at blame for much of it. Bob is someone Will can open out to.
Will’s ownership by the Mind Flayer may have been unintended, but it was not his aim. Bob is a likable character on the whole.
When Does Bob Die In Stranger Things?

In the seventh episode of Beyond Stranger Things, the gang explores the death of Bob Newby. As a bonus, there’s a little backstory on how it came to this.
Pre-recorded video of Astin talking about a specific request for his character was used in the episode, which he couldn’t appear in person for.
Demodogs assault Bob, and the creatures swarm him to death. They begin eating him while he is still conscious.
Joyce gasps in terror as he turns his head and coughs out a small amount of blood. However, when the sequence was first filmed, there was a lot more blood splattered around.
In a clip from Beyond Stranger Things, a crew member squirts a tremendous amount of fake blood into Astin’s mouth.
In the following moments, he begins to spout blood from his mouth. There was a lot of gore at that moment, but it was reduced to a manageable level.
