In This is us , everything is connected. The five protagonists of the series are capable of reaching the viewer through common problems and conflicts in the lives of every human being, both individual and collective. Grief, family dramas, job opportunities that are not hatched, lack of self – esteem and the existence (or not) of human goodness are some of its constants.
The series begins on any given day, during the birthday of very different brothers from each other. From there, the production focuses on showing the connections that can unite totally anonymous and unknown people with each other. The series takes temporary leaps to make the viewer more involved in the traumas that accompany its characters throughout their lives and how they find the necessary tools to overcome them. She is able to touch a chord and the psychology of those who sit down to watch her, a key feature of her success.
