When Did One Direction Become A Band

One Direction became in a very short time, one of the most acclaimed and important boy bands in the history of music, worldwide, since its formation in 2010 in London, United Kingdom.

And although it seems that it was just yesterday when the British-Irish group began, this July 23 they celebrate 11 years of their beginnings, and on the occasion of their anniversary, we give you a tour of some of the most emblematic moments of the band.

2010 was a key year in music since Gorillaz, Katy Perry, Portugal. The Man, Christina Aguilera, and among others released key albums in history. But something also happened in those 12 months: One Direction emerged.

That’s right, the quintet made up of Louis, Harry, Liam, Zayn, and Niall was unveiled as part of the reality show.

The X Factor. His godfather was Simon Cowell and the name of the band would be proposed by Harry Styles.
