Even though the UNC basketball player is 6’11, he kept his cameo on Outer Banks Season 3, Episode 8 pretty low-key. So, in Outer Banks, who does Armando play?

People say that the most challenging part of acting is getting your message across without saying a word. Armando does this well in Outer Banks Season 3, Episode 8.

Armando is the bodyguard for the notorious drug smuggler Barracuda Mike. He watches JJ (Rudy Pankow) and John as they try to arrange a trip to South America with Barracuda Mike (not JJ or John).

John awkwardly asks Armando’s character, “What do you guys catch out here?” while JJ tries to convince Barracuda Mike that all he and John want is a ride. The bodyguard Armando replies sarcastically, “Money.” The way the line is said is funny. John figures out what’s going on and stops asking questions.

John says, “Anyway, nice to meet you guys,” and Armando’s face is priceless when he responds. Armando’s cameo in Outer Banks Season 3 is over, which is too bad, because he really made it stand out. Could this be the start of the basketball player’s new career? We’ll have to wait and see what happens.
