Welcome to Chippendales Season 1 Episode 7 Recap
The Chippendales give a big show in Cincinnati to start the episode. Then, we follow the Chippendales across the United States with a montage of Nick, Denise, and Bradford doing many different things, like kissing each other, doing drugs, and celebrating how much money they are making. Next, Denise calls to book a venue for another leg of the tour, but Somen has already secured the venue.
Nick freaks out and tells Somen he can’t start a competing tour. But Somen tells him that since he owns Chippendales, he can do whatever he wants. Before Nick hung up, he told Somen that his lawyers would be in touch. The lawyer tells him in his office that the courts have stopped him from going on tour. Irene tells him that Nick tricked him after she left. Then, Somen takes some pills, which makes Irene nervous.
The tour keeps going, and Bradford has to return to New York. Bradford says that the way Nick and Denise are getting along is starting to bother him. He says he doesn’t want to force him to choose, but he might do it anyway. Nick tries to calm him down and gets on the bus. Irene tells Somen that they may have to sell the house. He tries to say he has it, but Irene is very sceptical. Well, Somen is taking a lot of drugs back in his office.
He goes outside, sees a long line of people, and lets EVERYONE in, even though the room is already full. The Fire Marshall then comes in and shuts it down. Then, Somen gets out of the back without being caught. Because of what he did, the city has now shut down the club. Irene tells him that Chippendales LA is over. When he asks what she means, she says that Chippendales LA is over.
Nick tells her he will return to New York when the tour gets to Texas. She has planned the time, set up the dates, and taken care of everything else. Denise says they made a deal, but he loves Bradford and wants to be with him in New York. She asks, “Are you going to choose him instead of me?” Then she says he used to be with another woman and could choose her. He says, “I loved her,” which breaks her heart, and she walks away.
Nick tries to call Denise, who isn’t doing well without him, from New York. Next, Bradford walks in and talks about how they will take over England on the next leg of the tour. The two of them hug each other and kiss each other. Nick has a huge smile because he has never been happier. We hear two gunshots while Bradford is in the bathroom, and then we see a strange man walk into Nick’s office. Nick is on the floor and covered in blood when Bradford walks into the office.

When Somen gets home, Irene tells him that Nick was shot and killed. He asks a few questions about who saw what, and Somen tries to say, “It was just a random robbery or something.” The next day, Denise shows up at Somen’s gate and starts to freak out. She’s yelling and calling him a killer. Denise tells Irene that he is a murderer and that she has blood on her hands when she comes outside. Next, Irene says she will call the police as she goes inside, but Somen slams his hand on the phone and tells her not to. Irene says that she finally noticed that $15,000 was missing from the safe and asked him what he did with it.
She runs to her room and tries to get started on packing. Someone comes up to her and says, “You know me.” She hits him and tells him, “I don’t know you.” She then takes their child and leaves. Before she can leave, Somen says, “I’m sorry,” but he won’t say why. She leaves anyway.
Somen is asked by the FBI what happened to Nick. During the questioning, Somen is acting very strangely as they ask him tough questions about his relationship with Nick. The agents think he is guilty after the meeting, but there is no proof. Somen opens the closet door at the end of the episode and grabs a cookie bag with a gun in it. I don’t know what was wrong with this episode, but I did not like it at all. I thought they really messed up the whole thing with Nick dying.
