Harry Hamlin thinks his wife Lisa Rinna left The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills for "the right reason."

On Friday night, the 71-year-old actor spoke to PEOPLE about Rinna's decision to leave Bravo after eight seasons.

"It was the right decision after eight years," he tells PEOPLE exclusively.

After seasons of sassy one-liners, drama, social media messiness, and self-deprecating lip humour, Rinna, 59, left RHOBH on Thursday.

Hamlin tells PEOPLE that he and his wife have many future projects.

Two weeks before Rinna left RHOBH, Hamlin told PEOPLE that Rinna's outspokenness often got her in trouble on the show.
