She played the role of a secretary on the May to December series. She received a BAFTA nomination for her role as Christina McKinney on the series Ugly Betty. She married Terence Beesley in 2007. The couple welcomed a son, Francis, in 2009. He participated with his voice in the animated film How to Train Your Dragon alongside Gerard Butler.
