The following is a guide to the next episode of The Walking Dead and when and where you can watch it.

The Walking Dead Season 11 Episode 23 Recap

Season 11 Episode 23 of “The Walking Dead” The episode “Family,” whose title alludes to Michonne and Rick’s reunion, centers on their trip to the Commonwealth. After banding together in the prior episode, the cast plans to engage Pamela (Laila Robins) in direct combat. They hop on a train to gain access to the facility undetected.

After nearly dying together in the same labor camp, Negan and Ezekiel form a close friendship in front of Maggie (Lauren Cohan). Carol and Daryl want to know Judith’s backstory. These exchanges feel the most significant, albeit leading up to a dramatic clash at the Commonwealth. As a result, there are more opportunities for genuine character development and less for plot-driven dialogue.

The Walking Dead Season 11 Episode 24 Preview

After 11 seasons, the show concluded with an episode that took TV horror to new, bloody heights and wasn’t hesitant to take off significant characters along the show’s post-apocalyptic journey.

(It isn’t the end of the world; other Walking Dead spinoffs are already in production.) There will be more peril for our heroes than ever in the 90-minute, supersized conclusion, which a Red Carpet Live presentation will precede at 8:30 p.m./7:30 p.m.

Judith, played by Cailey Fleming, is a young girl whose life is in danger as the adults fight off a swarm of zombies that have emerged from the walled-off part of the Commonwealth they are attempting to conquer. Who will come out on top in this showdown? As the episode title suggests, the series finale will likely feature multiple deaths.

Greg Nicotero directed “Rest in Peace,” which Angela Kang wrote, and Corey Reed and Jim Barnes wrote the teleplay. The promo and opening scene for the episode, which was also made available by AMC, show the survivors engaged in a fierce battle against the Commonwealth.
