The Umbrella Academy Season 4: After waiting for months, we finally have good news about The Umbrella Academy, one of Netflix’s most popular shows, and its fourth season.
On June 22, 2022, season 3 of The Umbrella Academy came out, and we finally learned what happens between the Umbrellas and the Sparrow Academy. The last time we saw our favourite Hargreeves siblings, they fought the Commission and tried to get home. But when they went back to their own time, everything was different.
In season 3 of The Umbrella Academy, they have to deal with the Sparrows living in their house. In the trailer, Number Five (Aidan Gallagher) says they have made a time travel paradox and need to figure out how to fix it. With this group, there’s never a dull moment!
The Umbrella Academy Season 4 Release Date
Yes! On August 25, 2022, Netflix said that the fourth season of The Umbrella Academy is coming soon. It’s too bad that fans had to wait so long between the release of season 3 and the news that season 4 would be coming. It’s great when a popular Netflix show like this one gets renewed, but there’s also some bad news for fans.
The Umbrella Academy Season 4 Plot
Even though we’re sure there will be a new apocalypse for the team to deal with, we don’t know much about the world or what could happen to the gang right now.
We only know that none of them have their powers anymore, which could be very bad if the end of the world comes back.
Luther just got married, died, and came back to life for no reason. He is now on a mission to find his wife Sloan, who didn’t come out of the elevator with the rest of the group.
Diego and Lila seem ready and happy to live a normal life, but can they do that after years of being badass superheroes?
Also, is Allison alive or dead now that she has been sent to a new world with her daughter Claire and her husband Ray? We think she may have moved on to her own personal heaven, and we don’t think she’ll be happy if she’s pulled out of that. Even more so when you think about how bad things were for her before.
The world we’ve seen her in, though, isn’t real. Ray and Claire live at different times in the same timeline. In the 1960s, Claire was married to Ray. In season three, we learn that Ray died before Claire came back to the present. Claire was born because she was with her ex-husband Steve, so something has to give.
Viktor will also have to deal with life without his best friend Allison, who was probably his closest sibling before and after he changed (at least to begin with). As he gets used to his new life and not just the new world, he may find love or start a family. We will soon find out.
Then there’s Reginald Hargreeves, who has finally met up with his dead wife. This makes it oddly romantic to think about why he was messing with time and space in the first place. If you don’t think about how his attempts to get her back could have led to genocide.
What does Reginald want to do now that they are back together? Or is he going to ignore the chaos he’s caused and the people he hurt so that he can live a somewhat quiet life?
Is There A Season 5 Of The Umbrella Academy?
No, the Deadline says that the fourth season will also be the show’s last season. Even though that’s sad, at least we’ll get one more season to see how the characters’ stories end.
Most shows on Netflix don’t last for four seasons. A lot of shows don’t even get a second season. After all this time, it’s great that the cast and creative team get to decide how the show ends and how they want to go out. What will be the conditions? Well, it will be very interesting to see what happens, especially after how season 3 ended.
We just found out more critical news about season 4, and if you’re a big fan of The Umbrella Academy, it’s not that good.
How Many Episodes Are In The Umbrella Academy Season 4?
Steve Blackman, who runs the show, said that season 4 of The Umbrella Academy will only have six episodes. There were 10 episodes in each of the first three seasons. So, it will be a lot shorter than the first three seasons.
The Umbrella Academy will have 36 episodes by the time the season is over.
We know you’re sad that The Umbrella Academy’s last season was cut short, but there’s good news on the way.
The Umbrella Academy Season 4 Episode Titles
We don’t yet know the episode names for season 4 of The Umbrella Academy. We probably won’t find out until right before the last season, but Netflix has given fans a sneak peek at episode titles for some shows months in advance.
We do know, though, which episode will be the first one of season 4. Blackman wrote on Instagram that the title of the first episode of Season 4 is “The Unbearable Tragedy of Getting What You Want.” Blackman and Jesse McKeown are the ones who wrote it.
The Umbrella Academy Season 4 Cast
Along with the news that the show would be back for a fourth season, Netflix also told us who will be in the final season. Elliot Page, Tom Hopper, David Castaeda, Emmy Raver-Lampman, Robert Sheehan, Aidan Gallagher, Justin H. Min, Ritu Arya, and Colm Feore will all play their roles again in season 4.
The Cast Started Filming The Umbrella Academy Season 4 In February 2023
Blackman also posted a photo of the cast on Instagram and said that filming would start in February 2023. This is great news, of course. The sooner they start making the new season, the sooner we’ll be able to watch it on Netflix.
Still, it’s hard to say how long it could take to make the new season. In the past, this show has had quite long shoots. For example, filming for the third season began in February 2021 and went on until August 2021. Then, in June 2022, the third season came out on Netflix.
