A group of super villains finds themselves locked up in Belle Reve, a high-security prison with the highest death rate in the United States. To get out of there they will do anything, even join the Task Force X group, dedicated to carrying out suicide missions under the orders of Amanda Waller. Heavily armed they are sent to Corto Maltese Island, a jungle full of enemies.

James Gunn writes and directs a new action-adventure from Warner Bros. Pictures’ super-anti-heroes. ‘The Suicide Squad‘ reveals one of the most degenerate collections of criminals in the entire DC Extended Universe.
If hell had any other name, it would be Belle Reve, the prison with the highest death rate in the United States. There are the worst Super-Villains who will do anything to escape, including joining the super-secret and murky TaskForce X, whose missions are to act or die. The group is made up of Bloodsport, Peacemaker, Captain Boomerang, Ratcatcher 2, Savant, King Shark, Blackguard, Javelin, and everyone’s favorite psychopath: Harley Quinn. They will be armed with all possible weapons and then released (literally) on the remote island of Corto Maltés, which is infested with enemies. There they will make their way through a jungle full of militant adversaries and guerrilla forces. The only sensible one is Colonel Rick Flag but they have Amanda Waller’s government technologists tracking his every move. Any misstep could lead to her death, at the hands of her enemies, her own teammates, or Waller herself.
