The Rookie Season 5 Episode 1 Preview, Cast, And Release Date (Double Down)

The Rookie Season 5 Episode 1: On Sunday, September 25 at 10 pm ET, the first episode of The Rookie, titled “Double Down,” will air, ushering in a new season full of drama for the police force.

Alexi Hawley’s series centers on John Nolan, a middle-aged man who, after a career change, becomes the LAPD’s oldest rookie.

It’s based on William Norcross, a real-life LAPD officer who relocated to the city in his forties and started working for the force in 2015.

The Rookie Season 5 Episode 1 Preview

The show stars Melissa O’Neil as Lucy Chen, Alyssa Diaz as Angela Lopez, Richard T. Jones as Wade Grey, and Eric Winter as Tim Bradford.

Jenna Dewan reprises her role as Bailey Nune, Shawn Ashmore returns as Wesley Evers, and Tru Valentino plays Aaron Thorsen. Mekia Cox plays Nyla Harper.

In addition to Alexi Hawley, Nathan Fillion, Mark Gordon, Nicholas Pepper, Michelle Chapman, Jon Steinberg, Liz Friedlander, and William Norcross serve as executive producers for the show. In addition to ABC’s The Rookie, Hulu will provide the show’s fifth season.

Nolan had to deal with serial killer Rosalind Dyer again in the season 5 promo for The Rookie, which was released last month.

Premiere episode director Tori Garrett worked with writer Alexi Hawley to craft the show’s first episode.

A new spin-off, The Rookie: Feds, is also on the way, and the forthcoming season is expected to be one of the most ambitious yet.

The Rookie Season 5 Episode 1 Release Date

On Sunday, September 25, at 10 p.m., the first episode of Season 5 of The Rookie will air (ET). There is currently no date for this edition’s release in the UK or elsewhere.
