Recap of The Rookie: Feds Season 1 Episode 21 “Bloodline”

In Episode 21, titled “Bloodline,” the FBI takes on a case from the LAPD involving a serial murderer who has been leaving severed limbs across state lines. Antoinette and Elena’s forensic breakthroughs lead the team to the killer, who retaliates against Laura.

The Mysterious Serial Killer

In this gripping episode, a severed arm is found in LA, and another one in Arizona. Both arms are severed with a mysterious weapon, leading investigators to suspect a serial killer. The FBI steps in to handle the multi-state investigation, and Antoinette soon determines that the weapon used is a pressurized water gun.

Uncovering the Killer’s Identity

The team discovers that the victims are half-siblings, fathered by Thomas Clay Briggs, a notorious serial killer currently serving six life sentences. The murderer turns out to be Roman Griffiths, one of Briggs’s children. Roman has been spying on his half-siblings and believes that he’s saving lives by killing them.

Roman’s Abduction of Laura

Roman abducts Laura, believing that she understands him. However, Laura refuses to buy into his twisted reasoning, and they engage in a fight. Laura manages to escape, and Atlas and Brendan find her just in time. In the end, Roman takes his own life, blaming the team for any future killings by his family members.
