The Old Man Jeff Bridges Release Date: The 2017 novel of the same name written by Thomas Perry will serve as the basis for the upcoming American television thriller series titled The Old Man.
Jonathan E. Steinberg and Robert Levine are credited with the show’s creation, and the FX network is where it will make its debut on June 16, 2022.
The Old Man Plot
Dan Chase, a former CIA officer, has been living off the grid for the past many years.
An assassin enters and tries to take down Chase, who is forced to flee.
Zoe McDonald lets Chase stay with her while he’s on the run, and the two become partners in their quest to uncover the truth.
Due to Harper’s convoluted background with the rogue fugitive, Harold Harper, the FBI’s Assistant Director for Counterintelligence, is called upon to track down Chase.
A highly experienced special operations contractor, Julian Carson, has also been dispatched to chase down Chase and Harper’s protégé, Agent Angela Adams.

There will be two episodes of “The Old Man” available for viewing beginning June 16. The complete seven-episode run will conclude on July 21.
Hulu subscribers will be able to see the show the following day after it airs on FX. The whole trailer may be seen below.
Jeff Bridges In The Old Man
In “The Old Man,” Jeff Bridges plays the role of Dan Chase.
This is the first part that the actor, who won an Academy Award for his performance in Bad Times at the El Royale, has taken on since 2018, whether in a movie or on television.
Bridges revealed in 2020 that he had been diagnosed with cancer, but he was in remission by 2021, and he told People (opens in new tab) this year that he felt “terrific.” Bridges were diagnosed with lymphoma in 2020.
Although Bridges is probably best known for his role as The Dude in The Big Lebowski, his career includes several iconic performances in films such as The Last Picture Show, TRON, The Fisher King, Seabiscuit, Iron Man, Crazy Heart (the role for which he won an Academy Award), True Grit, and Hell or High Water. Bridges is probably best known for his role in The Big Lebowski.
Bridges got his start on the small screen, appearing in T.V. programs such as Sea Hunt, The Lloyd Bridges Show (which starred his dad), and The F.B.I. Although he has worked less on the T.V. side since he broke out in movies, Bridges got his start on the small screen.
Since the 1980s, he has not appeared in a role in a television series until The Old Man (though he did do a T.V. movie, Hidden in America, in the 90s).
