The Handmaid’s Tale Season 5 Episode 6: Following Monday, Hulu will release episode 6 of season 5 of The Handmaid’s Tale, and we are terrified. All of us are worried.
The episode is called “Together,” which is incredibly ironic given the content. After all, we saw June and Luke break up at the end of Episode 5 after they were imprisoned.
It becomes evident at this point that Gilead is holding the two hostages. What will happen next is the question that must be answered now.
The Handmaid’s Tale Season 5 Episode 6 Preview
Look at the preview below to get an idea of how perilous the situation is for these main characters. Eventually, Serena finds out about Elisabeth Moss’s character’s death, and it’s apparent that she’s thrilled beyond measure to celebrate it.
Not in our estimation, though. Without Offred, The Handmaid’s Tale wouldn’t have much of a story. For us, the most pressing question is how we will eventually see June’s escape.
It has been pointed out that June has been given so many narrative shields that she can pretty much walk away unscathed from any crisis that has arisen so far in the show. There better be a compelling story behind her escape if she does.
Although we’ve been concerned about Luke’s demise for quite some time, it appears that he and June have finally found happiness.
Just when things seem to be going a particular character’s way, you throw a wrench in the works and leave us all bawling in the corner; it’s a classic TV role.
Although many of us hope for a different outcome, this episode seems like the kind where it may happen.
