The Handmaid’s Tale Season 5 Episode 10: Towards the end of the season, everyone on our show takes a clear stand and declares their allegiance to one side.
While Serena has finally had enough of the Wheeler’s oppressive grip on her, June has finally reached her breaking point with Lawrence and has decided to remain in Toronto.
The previous week’s episode of The Handmaid’s Tale is packed with action but also explores the dystopian regime’s emotional aspect. Of all persons, we feel the most sympathy for Naomi Putnam.

The Handmaid’s Tale Season 5 Episode 10 Preview
Episode 9’s climax, with June Osborne being attacked in Toronto while she pledged loyalty to the United States, set the stage.
Since escaping Gilead, she and Luke have lived in Canada with their newborn daughter Nichole. However, the political climate in Canada has been deteriorating all season.
As the security situation in Canada worsens, June will be the one most at risk. She is a leading anti-Gilead revolutionary and a figurehead for the entire uprising.
Some people will go out of their way to make trouble and injure her. You may rest sure that the writers don’t have to wrap up every last loose thread in this season’s conclusion because you know that season 6 is just around the corner.
But we must warn you that the final season will change visually and stylistically from what we have seen thus far. Considering the potential for a convoluted final act, it’s best to be ready for various unexpectedly tragic developments.
