Can You Ever Forgive Me?, where he played Jack Hock, got the most praise from critics. He won the Academy Award, Golden Globes, BAFTA, and other awards for his supporting role in the movie. The English-Swazi actor is also known for being a host.

The actor is one of many new hosts named for the event. It has people like Alison Hammond, Vick Hope, and Ali Plumb as hosts, as well as critics like Ali Plumb.

Alison Hammond will be in charge of the new BAFTA Studio, giving viewers more to do during the events, such as interviews and behind-the-scenes looks. Hope and Plumb will cover the area around the red carpet.

The BAFTA Awards will be shown on TV from the Royal Festival Hall at the Southbank Center in London. It will happen on February 19 in the evening. This year’s nominations haven’t been made public yet, but they will be on Thursday.

The awards are held yearly to honour the best movies made by people from Britain and other countries. People in Britain think of them as the most important awards.

Some British film producers started the academy in 1947. Most of the awards are open to people from any country. Still, some, like Outstanding British Film and Outstanding Debut by a British Writer, Producer, or Director, are only for British people.

The British Short Film and British Short Animation Awards are only open to UK movies.
