School Spirits Episode 7: In episode 7 of the Paramount+ series School Spirits, titled “Seance Anything,” the mystery surrounding Claire’s murder/disappearance takes an exciting turn as new evidence emerges, pointing towards a different suspect. As we approach the penultimate episode of the season, questions continue to pile up.

Recap of School Spirits Season 1 Episode 7

The episode starts with Simon questioning Nicole about her actions and her project, which contains numerous photos of Maddie. Nicole becomes defensive, and later, we see her burning the photos. Meanwhile, the afterlife crew is preparing for a mock trial, seeking answers for Maddie’s disappearance.

Breaking into the Evidence Room

As the crew (minus Claire) decides to break into the police station’s evidence locker, Simon and Xavier successfully infiltrate the room. Inside, they find a bootprint that doesn’t belong to Maddie, further deepening the mystery.

Nicole’s Suspicious Activities

Nicole continues to exhibit suspicious behavior throughout the episode. She is seen threatening a student to get off a computer and later asks a teacher about the possibility of permanently deleting data from the device. Simon confronts Maddie about Nicole’s activities, and they agree to investigate further.

Sandra’s Encounter with Mr. South

Sandra encounters Mr. South at a store, and he tries to convince her that he would never hurt Maddie. The afterlife crew gathers to help Maddie regain her memory, while Simon reveals the truth about Nicole’s actions to her.

Nicole’s Real Motive

Nicole confesses that she recorded the video and needed the money to attend the same school as Simon and Maddie. Despite her questionable actions, her intentions were to stay close to her friends.

Episode 7 Ending Explained

As the episode comes to a close, a series of strange events unfold, and we see Dawn crossing to the other side. While Simon and Nicole are talking, someone appears, prompting Simon to give chase. The episode ends with Maddie experiencing flashbacks and uttering the chilling words, “I think my mother might have killed me.”
