Samrat Prithviraj 2022 OTT Release Date: Chandraprakash Dwivedi directs, and Yash Raj Films produces this 2022 Indian historical action drama film, Samrat Prithviraj.

An epic poem written in the Braj language about the life of the Chahamana monarch Prithviraj Chauhan forms the basis of the film.

Prithviraj Chauhan is played by Akshay Kumar, while Sanyogita is played by Manushi Chhillar in her Hindi cinema debut.

There are also important roles for Sanjay Dutt, Sonu Sood, Manav Vij, Ashutosh Rana, and Sakshi Tanwar.

Samrat Prithviraj 2022 Release Date

The film had set an earlier release date of Diwali, 2020.

However, the COVID-19 pandemic necessitated the event’s postponement, which had been scheduled for March to October 2020.

Initially set for release on January 21, 2022, in 2D and IMAX, the picture has been put on hold due to an Omicron outbreak.

Finally, in the theatres on June 3, 2022, the film was released in Hindi and dubbed versions of Tamil and Telugu languages.

Samrat Prithviraj 2022 OTT Release Date

Filming for the Prithviraj Movie will begin on June 3rd, 2022. Akshay Kumar portrays King Prithviraj Chauhan in the film.

A release date for this film’s OTT distribution in August or September 2022 is possible if the theatrical release goes well.

Samrat Prithviraj 2022 Box-Office

Over 5,000 theatres around the world showed Samrat Prithviraj.
It opened to a domestic gross of 10.7 crores (US$1.4 million) on its first day.

This day’s earnings fell short of expectations, pegged at 15 crores ($2.0 million).

On Saturday and Sunday, the film earned 12.6 crores (US$1.7 million) and 16.1 crores (US$2.1 million), respectively, which fell short of expectations.
