Obi-Wan Kenobi Episode 5 Preview
This episode’s visual and narrative similarities to the original Star Wars series brought many fans back to their childhoods.
After Obi-Wan infiltrated the Empire’s safe house and freed Leia, the show showed a handful of stunning sequences showing Leia’s rescue.
Before Reva revealed that she let Obi-Wan and his companions flee on purpose, everything seemed to be coming together nicely for him and his crew. The future of the Path is now much more open due to this.
There have been no mentions of any other Jedis, the Path, or Reva in the future in the previous Star Wars films and series.
In the next two episodes, this story will come to a close.
Vader and the Empire may be able to end the group if they find them using Reva’s tracker, given the trend of the franchise’s endings being particularly violent.
At first glance, it looks like there is more to this character than what is immediately apparent. In contrast, Reva’s story appears to be far from over. What will become of Reva when she isn’t included in future Star Wars films?
That will be addressed in the next two episodes as well. Considering that she was raised as the princess of Alderaan in the original canon, Leia may be reunited with her family in the upcoming episode.
Like Obi-Wan Kenobi, Mark Hamill’s Luke Skywalker returned to Tatooine quietly after the events of the first Star Wars film.
Since Obi-Wan does not appear to have a choice at this time, events will inevitably lead him there. Obi-Wan and Vader may have another showdown in the upcoming episode, given how slowly he’s regaining mastery of the Force.
