On the next episode of NCIS: HAWAII, airing Monday, October 3 (10:00-11:00 PM, ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network and streaming live and on-demand on Paramount+, Whistler puts herself in harm’s way as she goes undercover to uncover the truth behind the accident.

The Whistler subplot deserves no less attention than it receives here, especially considering the difficulty of the circumstances in which she often finds herself.

The fact that she is geographically and otherwise isolated from the NCIS team compounds the difficulty of this case, despite our confidence that they would assist her in any manner they could if asked.

The situation is just too challenging right now. What you want from a procedural show like this is an episode that proves compelling from both a story and character perspective, and this one should deliver on all fronts.

Even if each episode is its own thing, you still want to make sure they have value when it comes to the broader season.
