Liaison Episode 4 Recap and Review, Cast: The fourth episode of Liaison, called “Carnage,” came out on Apple TV+ on March 17, 2023. The summary says that Banks is under more pressure as another attack happens. Alison and Gabriel seek safety. Virginie Brac and Oliver Butcher made the show. It’s about two people who were once in love and run into each other again. They have to work together to protect their families and the rest of the country.
Vincent Cassel and Eva Green play the main characters, along with Peter Mullan, Gérard Lanvin, Daniel Francis, Aziz Dyab, Marco Horanieh, Lyna Dubarry, Stanislas Merhar, Philippine Leroy-Beaulieu, Latitia Edo, Eriq Ebouaney, Bukky Bakray, Thierry Frémont, and others. Stephen Hopkins is in charge of making the show, and each of the six episodes will run for about 55 to 60 minutes.

Sabina finds out that Mark has died, and she is afraid that she will be blamed. Gabriel puts a bug in her computer when she is most vulnerable. Sabina meets Alison and tells her that Mark was killed, which makes her feel terrible. In exchange for the useful information, Alison gives her a warning about Gabriel and tells her who he really is.
Samir finally gets in touch with Myriam and tells her that he is in Dunkirk at the moment. On the other hand, Albert meets Alison and asks her if she met Gabriel in the hospital. She says she didn’t, but Albert doesn’t believe her. Gabriel, Myriam, and Alison leave for Dunkirk after that. They find Samir and take him to the house of Alison’s dad to keep him safe. Alison tells Richard where Samir is, and the two of them make a plan to get him back.

At the same time, there is another attack in Britain, this time with an aeroplane. The people in charge of air traffic lost touch with the pilots. The pilots couldn’t fly the plane because it had been hacked. But they are able to get back in charge before anything really bad happens. Then it comes out that Anthrop, a private cyber security company, is behind the attacks because they want the British government to sign an agreement with them.
Alison’s father gets a DVD in the mail from someone he doesn’t know. The video shows Alison and Gabriel at an old protest, but only in small bits. When a girl has an accident, the protest goes downhill. Alison’s father is angry and tries to turn Samir over to the police, but she tells him that the Samir in their house is not real. The person living in the bunker was a fake. The real Samir and Myriam are kept in a safe house.
When several attackers show up, Alison’s father faces them down. Gabriel and Alison beg him to leave, but he is still determined to face the strangers. In the end, they kill him. Gabriel locks Alison and the fake person inside the underground bunker with him. This is how the episode ends.

Liaison Episode 4 Review
Alison and Gabriel’s pasts are shown a bit, which helps the audience understand what is happening. Their past and how they relate to each other are important to the story. But there are still a lot of things we don’t know. We still don’t know why some things happen, so the audience is left in the dark. The story doesn’t move forward much either. The twists and turns are easy to guess and don’t surprise the audience at all.
Vincent Cassel and Eva Green are a sight to behold because the actors have great chemistry and keep their characters’ mysterious atmosphere.
